The Pinole Valley High School Conservatory of the Arts received a financial boost, thank to the June 30 Chocolate Extravaganza last month at Christ the Lord Church.
The silent auction fundraiser on June 30 collected $1,525 for the school's arts program. The church donated 50 percent of the proceeds from the sale. The enrichment program for Pinole students is funded through donations and grants.
