California Highway Patrol officers are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on a highway in Hercules early this morning. Just after midnight, CHP officials received reports of a crash blocking the left lane of eastbound Interstate Highway 80, near State Highway 4, according to CHP officials.
At 12:38 a.m., CHP officials issued a Sig-alert for the area and officers closed the two eastbound left lanes, according to CHP officials.
