College Prep Workshop for Middle and High School Students

Students in West Contra Costa County are invited to join free workshops Saturday to learn about educational and financial aid opportunities in preparation for college.

The Getting Ready for College Conference will be held at at Richmond High School, 1250 23rd St. beginning at 9 a.m. Sponsored by Contra Costa College in San Pablo,  the conference is designed for students in grades 6 through 12 and for their parents or guardians. Sessions include  choosing colleges, obtaining scholarships, college preparation and how to apply for financial aid.
