Coroner IDs Woman Shot Dead In San Pablo
The victim was one of two injured in the Saturday incident, police said.

SAN PABLO, CA – A woman fatally shot in San Pablo on Saturday afternoon has been identified by the Contra Costa County coroner's office as 47-year-old Cassann Britt.
Britt, a San Pablo resident, was one of two people found injured when officers responded at 3:13 p.m. to the shooting in the 2800 block of Valencia Way, police said.
Britt was pronounced dead by paramedics while the other person shot, a 22-year-old man, was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, according to police.

Police on Saturday said detectives were trying to determine whether one or both of the victims were the intended targets of the shooting.
An update on the case was not immediately available from police as of this morning.
