Crash Causes Fire At Pinole Gas Station (Video)

PINOLE, CA — A crash in Pinole Friday afternoon had disastrous consequences.

The Pinole Fire Department received a report at 1:43 p.m. of a fire at the Chevron station in the 2600 block of Pinole Valley Road, according to the PulsePoint app.

As the video below shows, firefighters were able to quickly douse the flames. Some roads in the area were closed briefly for the firefighting effort and cleanup.

All roads were open by 3 p.m.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.
