This course will provide individuals with the information and skills necessary to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies. This will also teach participants how to protect themselves while assisting others. There is no pre-requisite for this class; participants must complete all written and skills tests in and out of the water to receive a certificate that is valid for three years.
