The Community & Library Services Commission is in the process of planning the Community Clean-Up Day and needs volunteers for Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 8:00am-11:00am. Richmond Sanitary Service will graciously provide the dumpsters to be placed at the City of Hercules Corp Yard, 1000 Sycamore Avenue. We are requesting the participation of volunteers for this event. This effort is to have the city look its best and to participate in Earth Day. On Saturday, April 21, 2012 we ask for volunteers to report to the Hercules Corp Yard at 7:00a.m. for Clean-Up Day. This will provide the opportunity to sign in, be assign to a dumpster, pick up garbage bags, and receive information on where to leave the full garbage bags for pick up. Please complete the attached form and submit to Andrea Mendez at the Hercules Community/Swim Center, 2001 Refugio Valley Road, Hercules, CA 94547 or Fax to (510) 799-8288 no later than March 29, 2012. Prior to the event, you will receive a notification informing you of the area that they will be responsible for cleaning up.
