Contra Costa Commission for Women First Girl-on-Girl Violence Education Forum

On May 21st, from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm, the Contra Costa Commission for Women will be hosting an educational forum to address the results of our recently released "Girl on Girl Violence" report about the nature and depth of violence and bullying among girls in County schools. The forum, to be held at Diablo Valley College, will be free to the public, with a continental breakfast  provided to participants.

The educational forum will feature expert guest speakers, three workshops from 10:30 to 12 noon, and a panel discussion of bullying and violence prevention, concluding with a question and answer section. This will be a great opportunity for students, parents and educators to learn important information about violence and bullying among girls.  For more information please contact Carlyn Obringer, CCCW Chair, at womenscommission@gmail.com.
