Judo Basics 1

The practice and study of the fundamental principles and training regimens utilized in the sport of Judo will help students grow and gain agility, coordination, balance, physical strength and mental focus. Students will learn the philosophies of Judo in which self-discipline, respect, sportsmanship, camaraderie and commitment are critical in making one's skill more efficient with less effort. Unarmed hand-to-hand combat will be used to neutralize and immobilize opponents through throwing, wrestling, grappling, choking and pinning. 8 classes through Dec. 9.
