Make Books for National Library Week!

Celebrate National Library Week with a Craft Program: Making Simple Books

This is an  arts and crafts event for children, for two hours.

National Library Week is April 10-16th and the theme this year is "Create Your Own Story @ Your Library." We're taking it literally and Grace Taormina is presenting a workshop/craft program "Making Simple Books." So come out and make a book, and get started creating your own story to celebrate National Library Week!

Learn a variety of simple book binding techniques to make your own books. Discover how to use different materials to create a personal journal, scrapbook, or photo book. In this workshop we will learn how stitch a binding to hold pages together, create an accordion and peg fan book.
