This quarterly meeting includes two presentations. Pinole Police Cmdr. Matthew Messier will discuss "The History of Law Enforcement in Pinole" and author Donald Bastin will give a presentation about his book "Images of America: El Sobrante." Bastin also will hold a book signing.
The meeting, at the Kaiser Medical Office Building, 1301 Pinole Valley Rd., is open to the public.
