Fingerprinting "Party" for Volunteers in West County Schools
Fingerprinting "parties" for those who wish to volunteer in West County schools are drawing near. Advance registration is required.

Several West County School Unified School District events are approaching to qualify volunteers for Hercules schools and others in the district.
The next "fingerprinting party" for those who wish to volunteer in West Contra Costa public schools will be held Saturday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., at El Cerrito High School.
The West Contra Costa Unified School District requires many school volunteers to be fingerprinted and registered. In general terms, parents who volunteer in their own child's K-12 classroom do not need to be fingerprinted, while fingerprinting is required for parents volunteering outside their child's classroom and for non-parent volunteers. A more detailed description of the policy can be found on the district's Web site.
