Giant Eucalyptus Tree Topples Onto Pinole Home
The home sustained significant damage.
PINOLE, CA — Years of drought have weakened or killed millions of trees in California. Now those trees are a danger to people and homeowners with the ground saturated from back-to-back storms.
A soaring eucalyptus tree fell onto a Pinole home over the weekend, in the 800 block of Pinole Valley Road. The tree wasn't even on the homeowner's property.
The good news is that no one was hurt.
