Hercules Police Log: Trouble in Custody Exchange, Stolen Car Recovered

Outside Assist: On September 3, 2012, at 12:11 p.m. Pinole Police received a call regarding a dispute during a child custody exchange, in Pinole and the possible brandishing of a handgun. The suspect left in a gold Nissan. Hercules officers assisted Pinole Police with a high-risk stop of the Nissan on Hwy 4, near Christie Rd. Pinole Police took custody of the suspect and is handling the investigaton.

Recovered Vehicle: On September 3, 2012, at 6:15 p.m. Sergeant Eaves saw two juvenile males near a gold '87 Toyota Corolla in the 1300 block of Forest Run, but but before they could be contacted they disappeared into the complex. The Corolla was determined to be a unreported stolen vehicle, out of Concord. The vehicle was released to the owner later the same evening.
