Hercules Starbucks Robbery Suspects At Large
Police said a couple were involved in robbing a laptop from a customer inside the coffee shop.

HERCULES, CA -- Hercules police are searching for a man and woman involved in a robbery inside a Starbucks on Friday. Police said a woman customer, a Merced resident, was seated inside the Starbucks at 800 Willow Ave. at 8:49 p.m. when a man entered the coffee shop and grabbed the woman's laptop.
The woman tried to stop the theft and a struggle ensued until the suspect finally wrested the laptop from the woman's hands.
The suspect, described by police as a black man who is about 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 150 pounds with black dreadlocks, then jumped into a waiting white Hyundai Sonata with yellow-and-blue "Stoneridge" paper plates, according to police.

The driver was described as a black woman about 30 years of age.
The Hyundai was last seen headed south on Willow Avenue.
