High School Band Chosen to Play at Oakland A's Game
Pinole Valley High School Students are selling game tickets and seeking donations.
The Pinole Valley High School Marching Band is going to the Big Leagues.
Band members have been selected to play The Star-Spangled Banner before the Oakland A's game against the Chicago White Sox on April 23. They are selling game tickets. A portion of the $20 cost of the tickets will go to the band's fund.
Donations or sponsored tickets also are welcome. The game is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. and it's on a Monday.

The students are raising money to send the Jazz and Symphonic Band to play at Disneyland in May.

Previously this year, the band has played at Pinole Valley High football games, the El Sobrante Stroll, the YMCA Pancake Breakfast, the San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade and Opening Day for the Pinole-Hercules Little League.
