Home Depot Shoplifter Arrested In Hercules: Police

The store's loss prevention officer apprehended him and held him for police.

HERCULES, CA — Hercules Police arrested a man for allegedly shoplifting power tools from the Home Depot store on Tuesday. The 42-year-old man from Napa, whose name was not released, was taken jail.

Police were called when a loss prevention officer spotted the man leaving without paying, according to a police report. The store officer followed the suspect outside and prevented him from leaving.

The suspect also had an arrest warrant from Clear Lake, according to police.
