Home-Invasion Robbery: Dad, Mom & Child Were Victims In Hercules

Police said three suspects, one with a pry bar, broke into the home and demanded money and jewelry.

HERCULES, CA – Police are seeking three suspects who broke into a home in Hercules on Tuesday afternoon, threatened to kill a resident inside and then left after ransacking bedrooms in the home.

The robbery was reported at 12:14 p.m. in the 100 block of Fremont Court.

A man, his wife and their child were in a downstairs bedroom when they heard a loud bang, and the man went to the foyer and saw three suspects, including one carrying a pry bar, police said.

The suspect with the pry bar demanded money and jewelry and two of the suspects ransacked a downstairs bedroom while the other suspect went to an upstairs room. Police said the only item taken was a small box from a bedroom.

The suspects, described as three black males wearing black ski masks, black jeans, black jackets and black gloves, then fled and the man said he did not see where they went, according to police.

A neighbor reported seeing a black vehicle, possibly a Chrysler 300, parked near the victims' home around noon and said it had the engine running with dark tinted windows all around. No other information was
immediately available about the suspects, who remain at large.
