In honor of National Bike Month-WestCAT is Giving Away Bikes

Need a New Project? WestCAT is Offering Unclaimed Bikes for Free to Anyone Interested

As a public transit operator, we have a lot of things that end up in our lost and found. One of the items is bicycles. After a month, anything that goes unclaimed in our lost and found is donated or disposed of. We currently have a number of unclaimed bicycles on site and we are looking to get rid of them ASAP. They have been in storage for a long time, and are not in perfect condition. They are various sizes, makes, and models, and could be used for a restoration project of for parts. We are offering these bikes for free to anyone interested in picking them up and hauling them off. We will be dumping the remaining bicycles soon, as it has become a safety hazard at the facility and we need to have them removed. If you are interested, please call (510) 724-3331 ext. 117, M-F from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM for more information.
