Laptop Stolen From Woman At Hercules Starbucks

HERCULES, CA — Three people were reportedly involved in stealing a laptop from a woman at a Hercules Starbucks this weekend, police said Monday.

On Saturday at about 2:50 p.m., an officer responded to a report of a theft at the Starbucks at 3700 San Pablo Ave., according to police.

The victim, an El Sobrante resident, told officers that she was inside the shop working on her Apple MacBook Pro when a male suspect took it from her. The male suspect was accompanied by a second man.

After taking the laptop, the pair ran into a waiting silver Dodge Charger being driven by a woman. The vehicle fled in an unknown direction, police said.

Descriptions of the suspects were not immediately available.
