FULLTIME MONTESSORI TEACHER
La Casita Bilingue Montessori School, a non-profit Bilingual Montessori School and Kindergarten, has an immediate opening for a Head Teacher for its Preschool classroom for school year 2016-2017.
MUST have Montessori Credentials.
Head Teacher responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preparing and managing the Montessori Classroom environment
Creating and presenting curriculum
Giving individual and group lessons to the students
Recording student progress as well as maintaining student records
Training and supervising teacher assistant(s)
Maintaining overview and enforcing schools ground rules
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Bachelors in Education or Early Childhood Education
AMS/AMI 3-6 Training Teacher certificate
Minimum 2 years classroom teaching or equivalent
Current Department of Justice/FBI Child Abuse Index Clearance
Current EMSA First Aid and CPR certification
Current TB test
Ability to work as part of a teaching team
Have a nurturing demeanor
Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills
Spanish speaking preferred, but not required
Salary DOE. Benefits for fulltime include: 70% Medical
