The Local Control Accountability Plan Committee of the West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD) will hold its first meeting of the 2014-2015 school year on Tuesday, September 30 in the library at Kennedy High School.
Kennedy High School is located at 4300 Cutting Blvd. in Richmond.
The 37-member committee, which includes 10 high school students and 27 parents representing a wide range of stakeholder groups, will receive a progress update on actions and services in the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) and hear about changes to the process approved by the State Board of Education.

The District LCAP Committee fulfills the requirements of the Local Control Funding Formula, which is the new method for funding K-12 public education in the state.
