SAN PABLO, CA — A 22-year-old man fatally shot in San Pablo on Tuesday night has been identified by the Contra Costa County coroner's office as Richmond resident Robel Tadesse.
The shooting was reported at 9:23 p.m. in the 900 block of Stanton Avenue. Officers arrived and found Tadesse in a vehicle and suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police Capt. Brian Bubar said.
Bubar said Tadesse appears to be the intended target of the shooting. No arrest has been made as of Wednesday morning.
