Man With Stolen Gun Arrested Behind Hercules Business: Police
The man and a companion were behind a closed business at 2:00 in the morning.

HERCULES, CA — A man from the Chico area was arrested in Hercules Tuesday morning on multiple charges. Police say he was on probation and had two guns with him, including on that was reported stolen. According to HPD, 30-year-old David Burkhart of Corning was booked into county jail.
Burkhart was found just after 2 a.m. in a vehicle, along with a female companion, in the parking lot behind a closed business in the 800 block of Willow Avenue. A Hercules Police officer learned that Burkhart was on searchable probation out of Tehama County.
A search turned up a .357 Colt Python Magnum, and a P8 Luger. The Colt had been reported stolen.
