Multi-Vehicle Crash Wednesday Morning On Pinole Valley Road

There were no serious injuries.

PINOLE, CA — There were no serious injuries in a three vehicle crash in Pinole Wednesday morning, but traffic backed up until the mess could be cleared.

Pinole Police report that it happened on Pinole Valley Road near Granada Court.

In a social media post, one of the victims of the crash, Danielle Farvall, wrote, "I am so thankful everyone walked away from that accident. My car, the silver charger, is totaled but it can be replaced. My two small children can't be. I was at a complete stop when the blue SUV slammed into the black truck behind me, which made him slam into me. We are all extremely sore, some bruises and a few scratches but I am thanking God we are all still alive. Thank you to Pinole PD for acting fast and helping us!!"

Many people commenting on the post complained about speeders, about drivers who don't pay attention and those who treat the stop sign as a stop-if-you-feel-like-it sign.

A few residents called for a traffic light at that intersection. The police department responded, "A stop light will be installed as part of the high school rebuild."
