This is the season of caring, of sharing, of giving.
It is also, a Season of Change.
It is time to write a new chapter and create a new energetic spirit as we come together to build a better future for Pinole.
It is time to explore new ideas and new possibilities, that is, the definition of change.
The voters of Pinole have asked for and voted for new leadership. They want solutions to our many challenges. The challenges we face are not easy or simple, but together we can resolve many of them.
We would like to thank our neighbors and friends for having the courage to vote for change. As we look to the future we want to forge a lasting bond with our friends and neighbors as we work together to make Pinole the best place to live in all of the East Bay.
It is now time to write a new chapter, one that defines the word CommUNITY.
Public Service is an honor and requires a deep commitment and personal sacrifice. We thank the out-going Council Members, Maureen Toms, Tim Banuelos and Debbie Long. We welcome our new council members, Norma Martinez-Rubin, Vincent Salimi and Anthony Tave. They bring new leadership to our City Council, they offer fresh ideas and perspectives.
To each member of the Pinole City Council we say, remember that you work for us, the citizens, the people, all the people. Treat the citizens you represent with the decorum and respect they deserve.
Pinole 4 Fair Government will continue to focus its efforts on making Pinole a better place for everyone to enjoy. Our success is due to our community's involvement and enthusiasm. We continue to grow and welcome you to join us and become a part of the solution.
Vincent and Anthony, we are so proud of you.
We wish you every success, and know that we are going to be here for you.
It’s a new day in Pinole. And we couldn’t be prouder of our little city.
