Ohlone Elementary Tear-Down Begins: View Plans for New Building

The demolition of —the city’s oldest school—recently began. The state architect approved plans for a new Ohlone, which has consisted of portable classrooms for over 30 years.

Attached are drawings of what the new building will look like. The renderings were to Patch late last year.

As a result of the construction, the parking lot at Ohlone Park will be closed. Access to the dog park and soccer fields will be for foot traffic only.
