Pedestrian In Crosswalk Hit By Vehicle

HERCULES, CA — A pedestrian was hospitalized with a possible broken hip after being hit by a vehicle in Hercules on Wednesday morning, according to police.

The collision was reported at 7:41 a.m. at Sycamore Avenue and Civic Drive.

Officers determined a driver was heading east on Sycamore and hit the pedestrian, who was walking in the crosswalk, police said.

The pedestrian was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.
