Pinole Gas Station Robbed By Gunman
The robber brandished a black handgun and demanded money, police say.

PINOLE, CA — A gunman robbed the Chevron Gas Station at the corner of Pinole Valley Road and Estates Avenue Tuesday afternoon, Pinole Police report. No one was injured and no one has been arrested.
It happened just after 4 p.m. Police say the gas station clerk "reported an adult male entered the store and brandished a black handgun and demanded money. The clerk stated she handed over the money and the suspect then fled the scene in a blue sedan without license plates." During the commission of the robbery, the suspect continuously held a cell phone up to his ear.
Before robbing the gas station, the suspect entered the Mechanics Bank in Pinole Valley Shopping Center across the street from Chevron. He stopped at a table, and left shortly after without incident.
