Pinole Hercules Little League Softball Teams

PHLL teams go on to Tournament of Champions and All Stars.

After a full regular season, the Pinole Hercules Little League softball team goes on to the next level to participate in the Tournament of Champions. The winning team of their division level was sent to the District 4 level of playing with teams from out of our local areas.  The teams played were from the areas of Pittsburg, Antioch, Martinez, Walnut Creek and Clayton Valley.

On June 22 the final division games were played for TOC's. Congratulations to the Minor and Senior Softball teams for winning their victories.

The Minor girls, ages 9 to 11, battled it out to end up with a win 7-6 against Continental/Walnut Creek.

After these teams had a brief break, the start of the All Stars tournaments arrived.  Many of the same players reassembled into teams and went at it again. Many hours a week were spent on the field in preparation for the new bracket of games to come.

The 9 to 10 year old All Stars softball team went far into the bracketing of games with battling up to one more game before the finals.  This last game against East County #2 eliminated them with a score of 4 to 3.

For PHLL's second girls All Star softball team, the 11 to 12 year olds, there were three exciting games played. The last game ended in a loss to Continental/Walnut Creek, placing PHLL out of the elimination bracket.

These teams came far from the skills that they learned from their exposure to this advanced playing. Friends, family and fans all took notice anxiously awaiting the next season of play.
