Pinole and Hercules Police Cooperate to Nab 3 Burglary Suspects
Pinole Police went all-out to capture the suspects, including two that entered an occupied home.
PINOLE, CA - Pinole Police captured three burglary suspects Tuesday with the help of alert residents, police canine "Kaizer" and support from Hercules Police and the CHP.
According to Pinole Police, "Today we responded to Enlow Court on the report of (a) subject on his neighbor's roof and then the victim called to report two subjects inside his house with another trying to get in through a door. The subjects fled on foot into the open space behind the house."
Pinole and Hercules Police set up a perimeter. The CHP provided a helicopter to help with the search.

The suspects are a 21-year-old San Pablo resident, and 22- and 25-year-old Richmond residents. All three were positively identified by the victim and witnesses. They were arrested and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on residential burglary charges.

While Pinole Police thanked the CHP and Hercules Police for providing assistance, they also credit the alert neighbor for providing vital information, "We want to commend the witnesses being alert and for calling us immediately, remaining calm on the telephone and providing our dispatchers critical information."
Police agencies throughout the East Bay have emphasized that residents play a crucial role in reducing property crimes. "If you see something, say something."
