Lopez was arrested on suspicion of felony child endangerment and conspiracy, according to Duenas.

Police got a call from a Greenbrae resident around 3:30 p.m. saying he had discovered a woman allegedly rifling through his car while it was parked at his home on Via Casitas, Duenas said.

The caller confronted the woman and she allegedly got into a BMW 7-series car parked nearby and drove away, Duenas said. The caller described the car and its driver and passenger to police, who broadcast the information to all Central Marin police units.

Within minutes, officers stopped the car in San Anselmo on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at San Francisco Boulevard. Walls and Lopez were allegedly in the car, as well as a sleeping five-year-old child, according to
Duenas.

The child was taken into protective custody and later picked up by a relative, Duenas said.

Items taken from the victim's car in Greenbrae, two loaded handguns previously reported stolen in Napa and San Joaquin counties and property from a 2016 Contra Costa County auto burglary were found in the car,
according to Duenas.
