Pinole Police Get Their...Kitty?

PINOLE, CA — Under a blazing sun on Wednesday, Pinole Police were called upon to save a black cat from the engine compartment of a car.

Animal Services was on hand, but Officer Lew responded with his mechanical expertise, while Officer Duggan and Sergeant Lopez also lent a hand.

In the end, "We are happy to say Operation Kitty Rescue was a big success."

Let's hope that it didn't cost this little kitty one of its nine lives.
