Pinole Police Identify Suspect In Bowling Alley Shooting

Police asked anyone with information on Sirjantz Moliga's whereabouts to call the Pinole Police Department.

PINOLE, CA — Police asked for the public's help this week to find a man wanted in connection with a shooting at Pinole Valley Lanes.

Sirjantz Moliga, 19, has been identified as a suspect in the March 27 shooting at the bowling alley, the Pinole Police Department said Thursday in a news release.

Officers responded at 8:15 p.m. March 27 to several reports of shots being fired at Pinole Valley Lanes, 1580 Pinole Valley Road.

Police believe two groups of people got into an argument inside the bowling alley. The argument continued in the parking lot where the suspect fired multiple rounds.

Two people were found suffering from gunshot wounds, and several cars were struck by gunfire.

The victims were treated at a hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.

Witnesses described the shooter as a man with a long ponytail who was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.

Pinole police, along with Hercules police, Contra Costa sheriff's deputies and Richmond police, searched the area for the suspect but were not able to immediately find him.

Pinole PD's Criminal Investigations Division has now identified Moliga as the suspect.

Police asked anyone with information on Moliga's whereabouts to call the police department at 510-724-1111.
