Saturday, August 25
5:39 AM – Noisy subjects were reported in the area of Pinole Shores Park. It was quiet when officers arrived.
7:17 AM – Noise was reported near Pinole Shores Park. The area was checked and no problems were found.
11:39 AM – A vehicle was burglarized at Target.
12:14 PM – A solo vehicle accident occurred on San Pablo Avenue near Appian Way. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility. The vehicle was towed.
3:18 PM – A welfare check was requested on subjects in the water near Bayfront Park. It was determined to be subjects fishing and no problems were found.
3:32 PM – Assistance was rendered with an out of control juvenile in the 500 block of Dohrmann Lane.
7:20 PM – A subject with an air soft rifle was reported in the 900 block of San Pablo Avenue. They were admonished.
10:14 PM – A loud party was reported in the 2800 block of Goularte Drive. The responsible residents were admonished.
10:42 PM – A loud party was again reported in the 2800 block of Goularte Drive. The responsible residents were admonished again.
Sunday, August 26
1:14 AM – An employee at Embers reported a vandalism in progress at the rear of the business. The suspects fled before officers arrived and a report was taken to document the incident.
1:30 AM – A domestic disturbance occurred in the 1800 block of Marlesta Court.
1:57 AM – While conducting follow-up in San Pablo, a stolen vehicle was located on Rollingwood Drive near Greenwood Drive.
2:04 AM – A burglary occurred at K-Mart.
10:11 AM – Assistance was rendered with a civil matter in the 1800 block of Marlesta Court.
11:37 AM – Speeding vehicles were reported on John Street near Rafaela Street. They were gone when officers arrived.
4:27 PM – A dispute over a parking issue occurred near Target.
5:57 PM – Officers responded to a report of suspicious noises at the trailer storage in the 200 block of Tennent Avenue. One subject was contacted and cited for a warrant. No other problems were found.
9:00 PM – Officers responded to information from the FBI regarding a subject in the 2200 block of Simas Avenue who was possibly in possession of an explosive device. Area residents were evacuated while the subject was taken into custody and the device was deactivated. The subject was arrested for possession of the device and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
9:31 PM – Suspicious activity was reported in the 3700 block of Remuda Way. A security check was provided and no problems were found.
Monday, August 27
1:28 AM – A loud party was reported in the 800 block of 4th Avenue. The area was quiet when officers arrived.
8:39 AM – Vandalism was reported on Ponderosa Trail near Alamo Street.
9:39 AM – Vandalism was reported in the 2300 block of Monte Vista Drive.
2:24 PM – Lost property was reported in the 2100 block of Appian Way.
3:43 PM – A speeding vehicle was reported in the 2600 block of Henry Avenue. It was gone when officers arrived.
4:39 PM – A theft was reported at Target.
4:46 PM – A hit and run was reported near David’s Bridal.
5:33 PM – A theft occurred at CVS.
5:37 PM – A reckless driver was reported in the 3500 block of Pinole Valley Road. The driver was contacted a short distance away and arrested for driving while intoxicated and for possession of a controlled substance. He was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
10:06 PM – Officers responded to a theft at K-Mart. One subject was arrested for theft, giving false information to a police officer, and identity theft. She was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
10:29 PM – A suspicious subject was reported on Simas Avenue near Savage Avenue. He was contacted and determined to be an area resident.
11:56 PM – A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 1300 block of Fitzgerald Drive. It was gone when officers arrived.
Tuesday, August 28
4:07 AM – Officers responded to an alarm at Big 5 and determined an attempted break-in had occurred. A suspect was contacted a short distance away and taken into custody after a foot pursuit. He was arrested for burglary and obstruction of justice and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
7:41 AM – A theft occurred at Safeway. The suspect fled before officers arrived.
8:59 AM – Gunshots were reported in the 2600 block of Henry Avenue. It was determined to be nearby construction work.
9:09 AM – A burglary was reported at a business in the 2200 block of San Pablo Avenue.
11:45 AM – Subjects cut flowers from the yard of a resident in the 800 block of Sunnyview Drive then drove off in a vehicle with flowers in the backseat. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.
12:33 PM – Officers contacted a subject near Big 5. He was taken into custody for public intoxication and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
12:36 PM – An unwanted solicitor was reported at Target. They were admonished and left.
2:35 PM – A residential burglary was reported in the 900 block of Marlesta Road.
3:10 PM – An unwanted solicitor was reported in the 1500 block of Fitzgerald Drive. They were admonished.
3:40 PM – A theft occurred at Pinole Valley High School.
4:08 PM – A residential burglary was reported in the 1600 block of Canyon Drive.
4:08 PM – A subject was cited for theft at K-Mart.
4:35 PM – Officers responded a report of a suspicious occupied vehicle on Sunnyview Drive near San Pablo Avenue. Four subjects were arrested for charges related to the possession of a concealed loaded firearm in a vehicle. One of the subjects was also arrested for a warrant. All subjects were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility and the vehicle was towed.
11:08 PM – A fight occurred near Applebee’s. One subject was arrested for assault and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
Wednesday, August 29
4:57 AM – An occupied suspicious vehicle was reported near Shannon School. It was determined to be school security.
8:52 AM – Officers responded to a burglary alarm in the 1100 block of Bay View Farm Road and determined a burglary had occurred. A report was taken to document the incident.
2:41 PM – An auto burglary occurred in the 1300 block of Fitzgerald Drive.
3:42 PM – Vandalism to a vehicle was reported in the 3200 block of Estates Avenue.
9:59 PM – Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1800 block of Marlesta Court. One subject was arrested for domestic assault and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
11:06 PM – Prowlers were reported in the 1100 block of Rising Glen Road. They were gone when officers arrived and a report was taken to document the incident.
11:39 PM – Loud people and music were reported in the 100 block of Woy Circle. The responsible subjects were admonished.
Thursday, August 30
1:00 AM – A subject causing a disturbance was reported in the 2700 block of Henry Avenue. She was gone when officers arrived.
2:32 AM – Officer responded to a report of a glass break alarm at Arco. A window had been broken and the responsible subjects were gone.
7:48 PM – A domestic assault occurred in the 1700 block of Marlesta Road. The suspect fled before officers arrived.
12:50 PM – A suspicious subject was reported in the 2200 block of Sarah Court. It was determined to be a resident of the area and no problems were found.
3:03 PM – A theft occurred at Target.
4:25 PM – Juveniles were reported to be kicking the phone booth in front of the library. They were admonished.
5:22 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 1100 block of Nob Hill Avenue.
7:12 PM – A vehicle was stolen from the 1200 block of Tara Hills Drive.
9:17 PM – A theft was reported in the 1300 block of San Pablo Avenue.
10:46 PM – A suspicious person was reported in the 2700 block of Goularte Drive. They were gone when officers arrived.
Friday, August 31
1:52 AM – Advice was given about a civil matter in the 2500 block of Samuel Street.
9:11 AM – Advice was given about a restraining order violation in the 1600 block of Sandra Court.
10:26 AM – Assistance was rendered with a civil matter in the 2400 block of Ramona Street.
12:28 PM – A vehicle was stolen in the 2600 block of Appian Way.
12:39 PM – A theft occurred at Toys R Us.
7:07 PM – A loud blast was reported in the 2600 block of Moraga Drive. The area was quiet when officers arrived.
8:20 PM – A customer causing a disturbance was reported in the 1500 block of Fitzgerald Drive. They were gone when officers arrived.
8:38 PM – Officers contacted a pedestrian in the 1500 block of Fitzgerald Drive. He was arrested for a warrant, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of burglary tools. He was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
10:21 PM – A suspicious subject was reported on Francis Drive near Fraser Court. They were contacted and no problems were found.
11:29 PM – A theft occurred at Shell.
