Pinole Police Plan License Plate Enforcement

Properly afix your license plates by Monday - or else.

PINOLE, CA — If you don't have license plates on your vehicle you have until Monday to get that taken care of.

The Pinole Police Department plans a Temporary License Plate Enforcement action beginning on Monday, April 1. Local officers will partner with the Bay Area Toll Authority.

Vehicles not displaying state license plates or the new temporary California placards will be stopped and possibly cited. These new temporary license plates law went into effect on Jan. 1. Paper dealer plates showing the dealer's business name are no longer allowed.
