Pinole Resident Gets Third DUI Arrest in Four Years

California Highway Patrol officers arrested a Pinole resident in Marin County Sunday and reported that she has had three DUI arrests in four years.

Officers on Interstate 101 saw a 2003 Infinity G35 with its hazard lights on while  traveling southbound near the Marin City exit at 1:51 a.m. The officer "conducted a welfare check" on the vehicle, according to a CHP news release. Upon contacting the driver, Dnaya Marshay Gulley, 26, an officer noticed symptoms of intoxication.

After a sobriety test, officers arrested Gulley for driving under the influence and found that she had had a suspended drivers license for a previous DUI conviction and a requirement that her car must have an ignition interlock device. The car did not have the device.

Gulley had DUI convictions in 2008 and in June this year and a 2010 conviction for driving on a suspended license. She was booked into Marin County Jail for the following charges:

• misdemeanor DUI
• driving on a suspended license
• DUI probation violation
• driving a Vehicle without a required interlock device.
