Pinole Valley Spartan Girls Soccer Playing in Tri-County Athletic League Championship Thursday

The Spartan girls soccer team will be playing for the Tri-County Athletic League championship this Thursday here at Pinole Valley, after the ladies beat Hercules High 5-0 at home on Tuesday night. With the win, Pinole Valley gets the chance to play for the league title and an automatic bid to the North Coast Section playoffs against rival Richmond High. The Spartans have gone undefeated in league play and have beaten Richmond twice, but never with so much on the line. Game starts at 4:00 p.m. and gates will open at 3:30.
