Police Log: Stolen Vehicles, Burglaries, Limerick Screamers

Saturday, August 4

1:13 AM – Loud subjects were reported in the 300 block of Danny Court. They were admonished.

4:37 AM – During a security check at Motel 6. Two subjects were contacted and arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale. Another subject was arrested possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation, and for the theft of a vehicle that was located in Hercules. All three subjects were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

12:39 PM – A disturbance over a civil matter was reported in the 800 block of Betty Avenue.

1:37 PM – A fight involving a customer and a security guard was reported in the 1300 block of Fitzgerald Drive. The involved parties were admonished.

1:56 PM – Officers responded to a report of a theft at Food Maxx. One subject was arrested for theft and for giving false information to a police officer and released with a citation.

2:05 PM – Officers attempted to contact a pedestrian in the 1600 block of San Pablo Avenue. The subject fled on foot and was taken into custody a short distance away for obstruction of justice. He was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

5:45 PM – A theft was reported in the 1400 block of Fitzgerald Drive.

7:04 PM – A suspicious person was reported in the 2600 block of Appian Way. They were gone when officers arrived.

8:52 PM – A suspicious occupied vehicle was reported in the 300 block of Del Monte Way. The vehicle was checked and no problems were found.

10:26 PM – A traffic stop was made on San Pablo Avenue near Meadow Avenue. Two subjects were taken into custody for transportation of a controlled substance. One of the subjects was also arrested for violation of probation. Both were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Sunday, August 5

1:00 AM – A vehicle was reported to be spinning donuts on Duncan Road near Sarah Drive.

2:52 AM – A hit and run occurred on Alice Way near Henry Avenue. The suspect was taken into custody a short distance away for hit and run and driving while intoxicated and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

9:08 AM – Assistance was rendered with a civil issue in the 800 block of Tennent Avenue.

11:01 AM – Advice was given about a possible theft in the 2200 block of Simas Avenue.

11:23 AM – Advice was given about a civil matter involving a child custody order in the 800 block of Tennent Avenue.

1:32 PM – A traffic stop was made in the 1400 block of Fitzgerald Drive. The river was cited for possession of marijuana in a vehicle.

3:16 PM – Officers contacted a pedestrian in the 1500 block of Fitzgerald Drive. He was cited for possession of marijuana.

3:27 PM – A possible theft was reported at OSH.

10:27 PM – A possibly drunk driver was reported on Pinole Valley Road near Shea Drive. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.

Monday, August 6

1:23 AM – A traffic stop was made in the 1300 block of Willow Avenue. One subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale and transport. Another was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale. Both were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility and the vehicle was towed.

6:34 AM – A theft from a shed was reported in the 2500 block of Henry Avenue.

11:09 AM – A hit and run was reported on Tennent Avenue near Peach Street.

1:00 PM – Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 2900 block of Estates Avenue. One subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

1:12 PM – A hit and run was reported in the 1500 block of Pinole Valley Road.

2:44 PM – A hit and run occurred on Pinole Valley Road near Henry Avenue.

3:08 PM – A theft was reported in the 800 block of Alvarez Avenue.

4:45 PM – A room at Days Inn was burglarized.

5:31 PM – A theft was reported in the 200 block of Zoe Court.

8:26 PM – A strong-arm robbery occurred near Target. Possible suspects were pursued but not identified as the responsible subjects. A report was taken to document the incident.

Tuesday, August 7

12:52 AM – Officers responded to a report of a loud party on Francis Drive near Emma Drive. One subject was arrested for possession of marijuana for sale and transport and was taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.

6:16 AM – Construction noise was reported on Paloma Street near Estates Avenue. The responsible subjects were admonished.

9:34 AM – Assistance was rendered with a civil matter in the 800 block of Alvarez Avenue.

10:36 AM – A resident in the 2400 block of Hermosa Street reported unauthorized use of their debit card.

1:52 PM – A suspicious person was reported near Michael’s. They were contacted and left the area.

3:39 PM – A speeding reckless driver was reported on Francis Drive near Henry Avenue. They were gone when officers arrived.

6:25 PM – A vehicle was stolen in the 1200 block of Fitzgerald Drive.

Wednesday, August 8

3:46 AM – Officers attempted to contact a subject with a warrant on Belmont Way near Marlesta Road. The subject fled on foot and was not located during a check of the area. A report was taken to document the incident.

4:02 AM – A vehicle fire occurred in the 2600 block of Emma Drive.

8:12 AM – Officers responded to a report of a subject dancing in the parking lot near CVS. The subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

8:43 AM – A vehicle was stolen in the 2300 block of Collins Avenue.

12:42 PM – A stolen vehicle was located on Estates Avenue near Pinole Valley Road.

1:52 PM – An auto burglary occurred in the 1400 block of Fitzgerald Drive.

5:13 PM – Officers responded to a family disturbance in the 500 block of Sunnyview Drive. One subject was arrested for a warrant and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

6:50 PM – A subject and child with no helmets were reported to be riding a scooter in the 2600 block of Henry Avenue. They were gone when officers arrived.

10:32 PM – Officers responded to a report of an unwanted subject in the Green Lantern parking lot. The subject was arrested for public intoxication and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Thursday, August 9

12:26 AM – A loud party was reported in the 100 block of Woy Circle. The responsible subjects were admonished.

8:05 AM – Items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 3200 block of Estates Avenue.

11:01 AM – A vehicle burglary was reported in the 3200 block of Colusa Street.

11:54 AM – A vehicle was vandalized in the 1100 block of Marionola Way.

2:52 PM – Officers responded to a report of a theft at K-Mart. The suspect was arrested for theft, giving false information to a police officer, violation of probation, and a warrant, and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

3:47 PM – A theft was reported at Food Maxx. One subject was arrested for grand theft and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

7:23 PM – Officers responded to a family disturbance in the 2800 block of Simas Avenue. One subject was arrested for child abuse and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

8:17 PM – Loitering juveniles were reported in the 500 block of Tennent Avenue. They were gone when officers arrived.

11:31 PM – Reckless drivers were reported on Taper Court near Pinole Valley Road. They were gone when officers arrived.

Friday, August 10

4:24 AM – Screaming subjects were reported in the 400 block of Limerick Road.

6:01 AM – A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 1400 block of Tara Hills Drive. It was checked and no problems were found.

8:50 AM – Officers responded to a report of an occupied suspicious vehicle on Doidge Avenue near Wright Avenue. The occupant was arrested for a warrant and released with a citation.

1:03 PM – A non-injury accident occurred in the 1300 block of Fitzgerald Drive.

1:59 PM – A vehicle was burglarized in the 1400 block of Fitzgerald Drive.

5:13 PM – A residential burglary was reported in the 3200 block of Ramona Street.

10:51 PM – A traffic stop was made in the 1600 block of San Pablo Avenue. The driver was cited for driving without a license.

11:18 PM – Assistance was rendered with a civil matter in the 2500 block of Samuel Street.
