Police Log: Fight Near Pete's, Fireworks All Over Town, Four Thefts at K-Mart

Saturday, June 30
9:07 AM – Items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1400 block of Fitzgerald Drive.
12:45 PM – A noisy motorcycle rider was reported in the 3700 block of Towns Court. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.
2:52 PM – Officers contacted a pedestrian in the 1500 block of Fitzgerald Drive. The subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
5:51 PM – Officers responded to a report of an unwanted subject at Lucky. He was arrested for a warrant and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
7:02 PM – A reckless driver was reported in the 2900 block of Higuera Avenue. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.
9:14 PM – A loud party was reported in the 2800 block of Estates Avenue. The responsible residents were admonished.
9:24 PM – Fireworks were reported in the 600 block of Quinan Street. The area was quiet when officers arrived.
9:27 PM – Fireworks were reported on Orleans Drive near Calais Drive. The area was quiet when officers arrived.
10:04 PM – A subject with a warrant was arrested on Valley Avenue near San Pablo Avenue and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

10:05 PM – Fireworks were reported in the 2400 block of Alamo Street. The responsible subjects were gone when officers arrived.
11:02 PM – Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance near K-Mart. One subject was arrested for warrants and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
Sunday, July 1
12:37 AM – A loud party was reported in the 800 block of Rogers Way. The area was quiet when officers arrived.
2:48 AM – A loud party was reported in the 500 block of Sunnyview Drive. The area was quiet when officers arrived.
1:20 AM – Officers responded to a report of a fight near Pete’s Place. One subject was arrested for vandalism and public intoxication and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
10:36 AM – Teenagers were reported to be smoking marijuana in the 1800 block of Marlesta Court. A group was admonished.
1:20 PM – An auto burglary was reported in the 3800 block of Victor Street.
2:55 PM – Assistance was rendered with a civil matter at Motel 6.
3:27 PM – A subject was arrested for theft at K-Mart and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
3:27 PM – A traffic stop was made on the westbound on-ramp to Interstate 80 from Appian Way. The driver as arrested for possession for sale and transport of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property, and violation of probation. He was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility and the vehicle was towed.
7:50 PM – Juveniles were reported to be riding scooters in the middle of the street. They were admonished.
11:38 PM – Officers responded to a report of a subject possibly trying to use a fake identification card at Applebee’s. One subject was cited for a probation violation.
Monday, July 2
12:26 AM – A traffic stop was made on Appian Way near Allview Avenue. The driver was cited for driving with a suspended license.
8:50 AM – A report was taken to document a court order violation regarding a child custody exchange in the 800 block of Tennent Avenue.
11:45 AM – Juvenile trespassers were reported in the 2200 block of Sarah Court. They were admonished.
12:22 PM – A stolen vehicle was located in the 500 block of Sunnyview Drive.
12:36 PM – An auto burglary occurred in the 800 block of Alvarez Avenue.
4:48 PM – An auto burglary was reported in the 2700 block of Pinole Valley Road.
5:12 PM – A suspicious vehicle was reported on 2nd Avenue near Nob Hill Avenue. It was determined to be someone having car trouble and no problems were found.
8:56 PM – A traffic stop was made on Gately Drive near Pinole Shores Drive. The driver was cited for driving without a license.
9:12 PM – A loud bang was reported in the 800 block of E. Meadow Avenue. An officer in the area at the time determined it was probably fireworks but the responsible subjects were no longer in the area.
9:35 PM – Teenagers were reported to be setting off fireworks in the 800 block of Tara Hills Drive. They were gone when officer arrived.
9:36 PM – Fireworks were reported in the 700 block of Belmont Way. The area was quiet when officers arrived.
Tuesday, July 3
11:34 AM – An assault occurred in the 2600 block of Alhambra Way. The responsible subject fled before officers arrived and a report was taken to document the incident.
1:37 PM – Lost property was reported in the 1500 block of Fitzgerald Drive.
2:33 PM – An unwanted subject was reported at Motel 6. They were gone when officers arrived.

4:02 PM – Suspicious activity was reported near Collins School. The area was checked and no problems were found.
6:02 PM – A report was taken to document fraudulent activity at Target.
6:22 PM – An unwanted subject was reported near Big 5. One subject was admonished and left the area.
7:19 PM – A juvenile was cited for theft at K-Mart.
8:00 PM – A theft occurred at Chevron. The suspects were gone when officers arrived.
8:01 PM – A fight was reported in the 1800 block of Marlesta Court. The involved parties were admonished.
8:47 PM – Subjects were reported to be setting off fireworks in the 2000 block of Hoke Drive. They were gone when officers arrived.
9:07 PM – Gunshots were heard in the 2500 block of Arroyo Avenue. The area was checked and no problems were found.
9:09 PM – Fireworks were reported in the 2300 block of Doidge Avenue. The area was quiet when officers arrived.
10:14 PM – Fighting subjects were reported in the 1800 block of Marlesta Court. They were admonished.
Wednesday, July 4
12:07 AM – A traffic stop was made on San Pablo Avenue near Roble Avenue. The driver was cited for driving without a license.
1:43 PM – A customer causing a disturbance was reported at G & L. The subject was admonished not to return to the business.
3:03 PM – Fireworks were reported in the 2600 block of Henry Avenue. The area was quiet when officers arrived.
5:40 PM – Fireworks were reported in the 300 block of Calais Drive.
6:03 PM – Fireworks were reported on Shea Drive near Avis Way. The area was clear when officers arrived.
7:09 PM – A juvenile was cited for theft at K-Mart.
7:16 PM – A theft was reported in the 1600 block of Primrose Lane.
7:25 PM – Subjects were reported to be lighting off fireworks in the 1700 block of Marlesta Road. They were admonished.
7:26 PM – Fireworks were reported in the 2500 block of Moraga Drive. The responsible subjects were admonished.
7:29 PM – Fireworks were reported in the 1100 block of Marionola Way. The area was clear when officers arrived.
8:34 PM – Fireworks were reported in the 1100 block of Marionola Way. The responsible subjects were admonished.
9:13 PM – Fireworks were reported on Appian Way near Mann Drive. The area was clear when officers arrived.
9:22 PM – Fireworks were reported in the 2300 block of Doidge Avenue. The responsible subjects were admonished.
9:23 PM – Fireworks were reported on Zoe Court near Orleans Drive. The responsible subjects were admonished.
9:32 PM – Fireworks were reported in the 2600 block of Alice Way. The area was clear when officers arrived.
9:33 PM – Fireworks were reported near Pinole Valley Park. The area was clear when officers arrived.
9:44 PM – Fireworks were reported on Buena Vista Drive near Fern Avenue. The area was clear when officers arrived.
9:47 PM – Gunshots were reported on 4th Avenue near Nob Hill Avenue. The area was checked and no problems were found.
9:52 PM – Officers contacted a pedestrian on Glen Court near Marionola Way. The subject was cited for giving false information to a police officer.
10:01 PM – Fireworks were reported on Taper Court near Pinole Valley Road. The area was clear when officers arrived.
10:03 PM – Fireworks were reported to be set off from someone in a moving vehicle in the 3300 block of Diablo Circle. The area was clear when officers arrived.
10:15 PM – Trespassers were reported in the 2700 block of Mendocino Court. They were admonished.
10:16 PM – Loud music was reported in the 1700 block of Marlesta Road. The responsible subjects were admonished.
10:21 PM – Fireworks were reported in the 500 block of Sunnyview Drive. The area was clear when officers arrived.
11:01 PM – Fireworks were reported in the 1800 block of Marlesta Court. The area was clear when officers arrived.
11:09 PM – A resident in the 3700 block of Pinole Valley Road reported an unknown person was ringing their doorbell. The area was clear when officers arrived.
11:54 PM – Fireworks were reported in the 900 block of Meadow Avenue. The responsible subject was admonished.
Thursday, July 5
2:17 AM – Fireworks were reported in the 1100 block of Marionola Way. The area was quiet when officers arrived.
11:46 AM – A vehicle was vandalized in the 3100 block of Avis Way.
12:24 PM – An assault occurred on Kildare Way near Tara Hills Drive. The suspects fled before officers arrived and a report was taken to document the incident.
12:48 PM – An attempted fraud occurred at PetSmart. The suspect fled before officers arrived.
12:58 PM – An attempt to pass counterfeit bills was reported at Burglington Coat Factory. The suspects fled before officers arrived.
1:06 PM – Fireworks were reported in the 1800 block of Marlesta Court. The area was quiet when officers arrived.
1:57 PM – Subjects attempted to pass counterfeit bills at Target.
3:15 PM – Fraudulent activity was reported at Payless.
5:05 PM – Trees were vandalized at Ellerhorst School.
6:06 PM – A subject was cited for theft at K-Mart.
8:19 PM – A traffic stop was made on Allview Avenue near Appian Way. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, driving without a license, and possession of a controlled substance for sale. They were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility and the vehicle was towed.
10:49 PM – Fireworks were reported on O’Connor Drive. The area was quiet when officers arrived.
Friday, July 6
1:47 AM – A traffic stop was made on Sobrante Avenue and Appian Way in El Sobrante. The driver was cited for driving with a suspended license.
3:04 AM – A traffic stop was made on Tara Hills Drive near Shawn Drive. One subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of probation, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance in a jail. Another subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale and transport. Both were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility and
the vehicle was towed.
12:09 PM – A theft was reported in the 100 block of Tennent Avenue.
1:38 PM – A theft occurred at K-Mart. The suspect was arrested for petty theft with prior convictions, possession of stolen property, and violation of probation. He was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
3:47 PM – Juveniles shooting off fireworks were reported in the 900 block of San Pablo Avenue. They were gone when officers arrived.
4:49 PM – Loiterers were reported in the 1500 block of Fitzgerald Drive. They were admonished and left.
7:36 PM – Fighting subjects were reported near Lucky. They were gone when officers arrived.
10:02 PM – Teenagers were reported to be smoking marijuana in the 2600 block of Moraga Drive. They were gone when officers arrived.
10:45 PM – A loud party was reported in the 1500 block of Foothill Avenue. The responsible residents were admonished.
11:19 PM – A loud party was reported in the 2600 block of Moraga Drive. The responsible residents were admonished.
