Poll: What Should Hercules' Mission Statement Be?

In his proposed for Hercules, City Manager Steve Duran has suggested the city adopt a new mission statement.

The city government’s current mission statement:

“Our mission is to lead our diverse community and enhance the quality of life in the City of Hercules. We do this by providing effective, efficient, and innovative services with integrity.”

And the proposed new one:

“Our mission is to enhance the quality of life and economic vitality in Hercules by providing the highest quality municipal services possible in an ethical, efficient and effective manner.”
