A chance to share your thoughts in just six words.

Patch posted a Wednesday about a 15-year-old boy who was arrested on suspicion of armed robbery. It unintentionally sparked a conversation that turned toward the issue of race, with over 100 comments under the article.

Discussions surrounding race can happen spontaneously and often uncomfortably. But sometimes, like in the case of Michele Norris' Race Card Project, the conversation is intentional and must also be precise.

Norris, who hosts of NPR’s All Things Considered, developed the Race Card Project, where she asked people to share their thoughts about race and identity in exactly six words.
