Readers' Choice Result: Hercules Gas Station
The Shell station on San Pablo Avenue beat out Circle K on Willow Avenue by a hair or a landslide, depending on how you want to look at it.
Our most recent post polled readers on their favorite local gas station. Readers were asked to choose between Hercules' two gas stations -- Shell on San Pablo and Circle K on Willow -- as a favorite place to fuel up.
A total of eight votes were cast (better than last time), and Shell won by 62 percent of the votes, otherwise known as five votes, while Circle K receive three.
One reader wrote in to say he traveled to the Pinole/El Sobrante Shell by Appian Way for for the station's lower prices.
