Rep. Thompson Holding Fundraiser

Hercules' new representative in the U.S. House of Representatives, Rep. Mike Thompson, will hold a pasta dinner fundraiser in Martinez on July 22.

Thompson is the representative for District 5, a newly-created congressional district that now includes Pinole. Districts were redrawn by a special commission in response to the 2010 Census figures.

The event will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. July 22 at the Martinez Senior Community Center 818 Green Street in Martinez. It also includes E-waste recycling from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
