Save Elementary Music!

The West Contra Costa Unified School District is going to be voting in May whether or not to Eliminate elementary school instrumental instruction and use upper grade prep periods to teach music theory. The Hercules elementary schools’ PTAs are sponsoring this petition to save elementary school music. Please sign it! We must save this invaluable program in our schools! Elementary music is critical for secondary music as orchestra and band. Taking away elementary school is a death knell for the music program in our school district as a whole. Please help save elementary music!
