Scenic Bridge: Photo Of The Day

PINOLE, CA — The bucolic scene above is actually in Pinole, in this lovely photo take by Diane Springer.

Diane writes, "I took this photo at 7:35 AM on Saturday. I was walking on the small path near Sprouts, looking towards Henry Avenue in Pinole. This path starts behind the bowling alley, follows the creek and goes towards Henry Avenue. This bridge is Henry Avenue. Most people don’t go on that path and they don’t know it’s there. Quite often, you can see gray herons, snowy egrets, turkeys, ducks and fish in the water.

"The light was just perfect and this photo is not enhanced in any way. I took this photo with my iPhone . It is set on the vivid setting, which is the setting that I use all the time."
