Shots Fired at Pinole Couple in Front of Their Own Home
The robbery attempt is eerily similar to one in Orinda the previous night.

PINOLE, CA — Pinole Police are searching for two men suspected of firing several shots at a couple in front of their own home during an attempted robbery Tuesday night. The attack on the couple is similar to one that occurred in Orinda on Monday. In that case, the wife was shot twice while the husband was pistol whipped.
In Pinole, no one was hit by gunfire, but the woman was injured by glass when her car window was shot out.

According to a police department release, "One of the suspects demanded the victim’s purse and then one of the suspects began shooting towards the vehicle. During the commotion, the female victim’s husband, who was in their house, opened the front door to check on his wife. As he did so, one of the suspects fired several rounds in his direction, striking the house at least two times."
The suspects fled on foot. A neighbor heard a vehicle speed away.

The suspects had their faces covered and wore dark clothing.
