Sig-Alert Lifted After Hercules Crash Cleared

HERCULES, CA — A sig-alert for Interstate Highway 80 in Hercules has been lifted. It was issued because of a 5 vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.

There were three lanes blocked initially. That slowly dwindled. However, it took almost 2 hours to completely clear the mess because tow trucks en-route to the crash got stuck in traffic.

The crash was reported at 4:20 p.m.
