In a social media post, the police department called the UK family "wonderful." They took a tour of the police department while they were claiming their belongings. It looks like they also claimed some pretty cool hats.

A huge thank you to the person who spotted the discarded backpacks and reported them, and to both the police and fire departments who worked together to recover the property from down the embankment. Working together, they made a world of difference to this family and the other victims.
