'Where Were You On 911?'

Veterans from different generations will answer that question live Monday on "Veterans' Voices." Viewers can also share their thoughts.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — Monday's episode of "Veterans' Voices," a program broadcast live on CCTV — Contra Costa TV —will feature a panel of veterans from different generations who will recount how they were deeply affected by the events of 9/11.

From 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 14 on CCTV, "Veterans’ Voices" will honor the 19th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001 by asking the question: "Where Were You on 9/11?"

The panel of military men and women will tell their stories in their own words during an open discussion of thoughts, feelings and emotions about the attack and the conflicts that followed.

Viewers can also share their own experiences or ask a question by calling into the program at 925-313-1170.

Viewers may also call that phone number to record a voice message for the panel any time before Monday night's show. Questions and comments can also be left at Facebook@Veteransvoices1 or email veteransvoices@contracostatv.org before or during the live show.

The "Veterans’ Voices program" is broadcast live on CCTV the second Monday of every month at 7 p.m. It is also shown live online at Facebook @Veteransvoices. The program is re-run multiple times on CCTV, which can be found on Comcast Channel 27, Wave Channel 32, and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99 throughout Contra Costa County.

"The events of 9/11 forever changed the lives of American military men and women. The show will honor them by telling their stories," said CCTV Spokesman John Fout.
